Happy President's Day! Did you know that one of our nation's most beloved presidents grew up right here in Southern Indiana?
Abraham Lincoln spent his formative years here, living in a small log cabin in what is now known as the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial in Southern Indiana. It was here where Lincoln developed his work ethic and values, shaping him into the man he would become. The memorial features a replica of the cabin in which Lincoln lived, as well as a museum with exhibits on his life and legacy. Visitors can also hike the nearby trails to get a sense of the natural beauty of the area that Lincoln called home.
