Holiday Village in Santa Claus, Indiana Tour
🔑 Today we're going to talk about Holiday Village. It is a subdivision in Santa Claus, north of Christmas Lake. It's not gated, which is different from Christmas Lake, and has fewer restrictions.
The HOA is $120 a year compared to Christmas Lake's $505 a year. Plus, you get free Holiday World tickets with a family membership! 🎢
Holiday Village allows for larger detached dwellings, including pole barns, which may be a better fit for some buyers.
There are also more available lots here, offering plenty of options. The park system in Santa Claus, particularly Yellig Park, offers fantastic amenities.
I spoke with Zach Tischendorf, who runs the parks and recreation here in Santa Claus, and he shared some insights. 🌳
Yellig Lake Park, established in 1993, covers about 55 acres with a mile-walking trail, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields.
The park hosts various events like spring flings, public safety day, and the popular trick-or-treat trail. Additionally, the park hosts softball tournaments, drawing many visitors. 🎃
Holiday Village also has a rec center with a pool, available for gatherings. It's part of the association's dues, offering more benefits to residents. 💦
